WWE Elimination Chamber 2024 results for Rhea Ripley Australia return
WWE Elimination Chamber: Perth got off to an incredible start as Becky Lynch booked their ticket to WrestleMania 40.
The sports entertainment giant has rolled into Australia on Saturday morning UK time for the final premium live event before the Showcase of the Immortals in Philadelphia with Rhea Ripley set to headline in her home country.
The show kicked off with the women’s Elimination Chamber match, which delivered one of the best spectacles in recent memory inside the hellish structure.
Naomi and Becky Lynch kicked things off in the cage, treating fans to a thrilling spectacle before Tiffany Stratton raised her stock with an incredible performance.
Despite being a heel (a villain in wrestling terms), the Perth crowd at Opus Stadium were fully behind the rising star, whose time in the match was highlighted by a Senton from the top of the pod.
Raquel Rodriguez, Liv Morgan and Bianca Belair rounded out the field as the action heated up, with Naomi, Tiffany and Raquel eliminated in turn.
The ending was a quickfire exchange with Liv pinning Bianca after reversing the KOD, but she immediately turned into a Man-handle Slam as Becky scored the win.
On the Kickoff before the main card got underway, Aussie star Indi Hartwell lived out her dream as she came out with Candice LeRae to challenge for the Women’s Tag Team Titles.
The duo put on a spirited display but ultimately lost to Asuka and Kairi Sane, with the Kabuki Warriors continuing their match to WrestleMania 40 in Philly.
Indi got a standing ovation and huge response even after the bell, and during the match she couldn’t stop smiling as she moved around the ring.
In what’s expected to be the main event, Rhea Ripley will defend the Women’s World Championship against rival Nia Jax, while Rhea and Indi’s fellow Aussie Grayson Waller is set to host Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins on his eponymous talk show.
Elsewhere, Rhea’s Judgment Day allies Damian Priest and Finn Balor put their tag titles on the line against British duo Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate, now known as New Catch Republic.
And in the men’s chamber match, US Champion Logan Paul steps into the structure against Drew McIntyre, LA Knight, Randy Orton, Bobby Lashley and Kevin Owens.
WWE Elimination Chamber is airing live on the WWE Network.
