We won’t lie, it took us a minute to believe this platinum blonde was really Nickelodeon icon Amanda Bynes – but it is!

The She’s The Man star has made her way back to the entertainment industry as she launches a brand new podcast, and a new look to go with it.

Amanda, 37, was seen for the first time out and about after seeking mental health treatment looking incredibly healthy with her newly bleached hair in space buns.

Completing the look with sunglasses, a light blue shirt and white jeans, the actress was unrecognisable from recent years as she grabbed iced coffees in Marina Del Rey.

The actress rose to fame in the 90s and early 00s through the Amanda Bynes show before appearing in films like iconic romcom Easy A and 2007’s musical Hairspray.

She took a step away from the spotlight to work on her mental health after substance abuse rumours and a series of 5150 holds, which are involuntary hospital holds.

Now happier and healthier, Amanda is returning to the industry as she announced a brand new podcast.

Amanda Bynes & Paul Sieminski: The Podcast is now available on Spotify, with the What A Girl Wants star sharing a photo of herself, Paul and their guest Dahlia Moth on a couch together, posing with peace signs.

‘First episode of Amanda Bynes & Paul Sieminski: The Podcast done,’ Amanda wrote in her caption. ‘Thank you @dahliamoth!’

The star had announced weeks earlier that she was returning and planning to interview friends in the industry before going ‘mainstream’ with wider celebrity moments.

Her podcast, with her biochemist and scientist bestie as co-host, is the first on-screen work she will do since her supporting role in hit comedy Easy A back in 2011.

‘At first, we are going to interview our friends and then we’re hoping to take it mainstream and interview celebrities and artists,’ Amanda explained in a video.

The first episode sees the duo chat with model and tattoo artist Dahlia, discussing Amanda’s own decision to get a heart tattoo on her face – which shocked fans in 2019.

‘Nobody cares anymore if people have face tattoos. It shouldn’t matter,’ she declared.

In 2019 she earned a fashion degree and three years later qualified as a nail technician after moving away from acting projects.

Amanda has also previously been diagnosed with bipolar disorder.
