Hackney-born menswear brand Percival is making waves in the industry, collecting numerous celebrity fans with each expertly-crafted collection.

First came Tom Holland and Chris Evans, then Sebastian Stan and film legend The Rock. And the latest celeb to join the fold is the actor of the moment, Paul Mescal, who was spotted last summer rocking Percival’s Pinstripe Visitors Polo in the neutral off-white shade as he attended the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2022.

Cutting a striking silhouette in monochrome tones, Paul showed us exactly why this trendy brand is catching the attention of the A-List.

And it’s refreshing to see Hollywood stars sporting something that’s not *totally* out of our price range, too.

Short-sleeved shirts from Percival start at around £109, which, while still quite steep, isn’t reflective of the high-end designer pieces we’re used to seeing on celebs.

Percival’s Instagram page is also awash with famous faces styling out various pieces from the brand whose aim is ‘subverting the classics’.

Andrew Garfield can be seen wearing the Casa Piccante Knit (£139), with the brand offering a modern twist on the traditional polo in a fine knit.

Even Ryan Reynolds wanted in on the action
And Chris Evans is looking particularly dapper in the brand

While Game of Thrones legend Kit Harrington is pictured wrapping up warm in the Casentino Blanket Overshirt (£219) in electric blue.

Percival’s ethos is all around creating wardrobe staples that are meant to last; key pieces in classic cuts fashioned from high-quality materials.

Despite the brand’s celeb following, the team is surprisingly small, with just 15 members designing, producing and shooting products out of their studio in Hackney, London.

New season Percival products we love

This celeb-loved brand regularly releases new collections, but they’re dictated by timeless styles, rather than fleeting trends, as an antidote to fast fashion.

These are our favourite Pervical pieces at the moment.

Waterproof Sherlock, £229

The Waterproof Sherlock rose to fame when none other than England manager Gareth Southgate wore it at the 2021 Euros. It’s now available in nine stylish colourways. We love the Midnight Olive shade; the brand’s bestseller.

Cabin Weave Shirt, £149

One of the hero pieces in the brand’s SS23 Blue Willow Club collection, this statement shirt can be worn alone or with classic separates for an effortlessly stylish look.

Linen Everyday Trousers, £109

Ever versatile and always chic, we love these classic trousers in lightweight linen. The navy shade is the ideal choice for day-to-night dressing, from office to bar.
