Simon Murray leaves Ross County to re-join Dundee

Dundee have re-signed striker Simon Murray after agreeing an undisclosed fee with Ross County.

The 32-year-old, who has penned a three-year deal at Dens Park, scored an impressive 23 goals last term as the Highlanders avoided relegation via the play-off.

Murray had a stint at Dundee in 2018 while on loan from Hibernian, who were also reportedly interested in re-signing the forward this summer.

“To now be here permanently feels amazing,” the striker said.

“After speaking with the manager it just feels right for me. My family are based in Dundee, I grew up here, I grew up watching the club, the club are going places and I wanted to be part of that.”
