Roman Reigns has been presented with a brand new Undisputed WWE Universal Championship belt.

The Tribal Chief hit 1,000 days as world champion six days ago at Night of Champions, and now WWE boss Triple H has commemorated that historic achievement by introducing a new title.

It means Roman will no longer be carrying around separate WWE and Universal Titles, instead being presented with fresh gold.

Unveiled on SmackDown, the new championship isn’t a big departure from the previous designs, as it still features the WWE logo as the centrepiece.

However, in a twist the logo is more of a black design, with the background itself a solid gold rather than the blue or black used with its predecessors.

‘To congratulate you and to celebrate this historic achievement. It is my honour to present you with a brand new Undisputed WWE Universal Championship,’ Triple H told him before unveiling the title.
