Queen Rania dons £779 green kaftan dress for Jordan’s Independence Day
Queen Rania of Jordan, 52, stepped out looking radiant in a green dress from Taller Marmo on Thursday to celebrate Jordan’s Independence Day.
The ceremony took place at the Raghdan Royal Palace in Amman which King Abdullah II, Queen Rania and Crown Prince Hussein all attended.
Rania opted to wear the “Mrs Hall” belted kaftan dress in green, which retails for £779.
The brand’s website shows the dress to be backless, however, it is unclear if Rania’s version on Thursday was too.
The dress’s description says: “Made from featherweight crêpe, this Taller Marmo kaftan features a turtleneck, open back, draped sleeves, and a self-tie belt to highlight the waist.”

Queen Rania paired her green kaftan dress with a clutch bag from Rafe New York.
The “Vivienne” faceted shell minaudière is described as a “Rafe faceted minaudiere in kabibe shell, resin, and metal”.
The bag, which has a “removable chain shoulder strap”, has been in Queen Rania’s wardrobe for a number of years.
The Jordanian Queen accessorised with two pieces from the jewellery brand Sara Weinstock.
The first piece was already in Rania’s collection – her “Laura” gold and diamond ring, which she has worn for many years.
In addition, Rania wore a new Sara Weinstock “Taj” diamond cluster bolo bracelet, which retails for a whopping $13,350, or roughly £10,776 in British Sterling.
Its description reads: “This 18k gold bolo bracelet features baguette diamonds patterned alongside round diamonds.
“The result of this expert craftmanship is a stunning, bold look that is perfect for layering or wearing on its own.”
Royal fans were amazed by Queen Rania’s dress and jewellery and took to social media to praise the Jordanian royal.
The jewellery brand Sara Weinstock, who designed Rania’s jewellery, said on Instagram: “Queen Rania is truly one of the world’s most beautiful women, with fantastic style.”
Royal fan @luxmeagainpreloved added: “The colour, the style, the accessories! She’s flawless, whether it is traditional or Western wear.
“Hopefully this will allow traditional styles to be more appreciated in the West. These are gorgeous looks!”
