India involved in killing of Sikh leader say Canada – Channel 4 News
The Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau has denied trying to escalate tensions with India – after suggesting that the government in Delhi could be linked to the assassination of a Sikh activist on Canadian soil.
Both countries have now expelled senior diplomats in the escalating row – while India has strongly denied any state involvement in the killing – describing the accusations as “absurd”.
