You know Hugh Jackman has had a good night when he wakes up with the sweats the next morning.

The Wolverine star – who is newly single after 27 years of marriage – painted the town red on a school night in London, but paid the price for it.

Hugh, 55, dined like a king and chugged down champagne, courtesy of celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.

The Greatest Showman actor shared a series of snaps from his wild night out – well, snaps taken before things got wild – and shared them with his social media followers.

Tagging Kitchen Nightmares star Gordon, 57, in his caption, Hugh thanked him for the tip-top experience at his Bar and Grill in the capital.

Confessing that he got slightly carried away with the alcohol, Hugh wrote: ‘Went out on a school night. I knew I’d pay for it in sweat today but – so worth it!!

‘Thank you @gordongram. Everything @chef.mattabe brought out was incredible. Gojard and the entire team. @gordonramsaybarandgrill thank you for making it a night to remember!’

His carousel of photos included Hugh posing on the rainy London streets, looking very dapper in his all-black outfit, as well as pics of chef Matt Abé and an impressive bottle of champers.

‘You looked great, Hugh! Glad to see you enjoying a night out. Even if it’s a school night 😂’, commented HughJackmanFansite.

‘Every post..he just gets more handsome 😢❤️’, declared fan AelinRoses.

Hugh’s big night out proves he’s still keeping his spirits up despite his devastating divorce.

The Australian movie star and Deborra Lee-Furness, who wed in 1996 following a whirlwind romance, announced they had parted ways in September, much to the shock of fans.

‘We have been blessed to share almost 3 decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage,’ their statement released at the time read.

‘Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth.

‘Our family has been and always will be our highest priority. We undertake this next chapter with gratitude, love, and kindness.

‘We greatly appreciate your understanding in respecting our privacy as our family navigates this transition in all of our lives.’

The message, shared with People Magazine, concluded: ‘This is the sole statement either of us will make.’

Indeed, neither Hugh nor Deborah has made any further comment.

However, in upsetting developments, the former couple recently appeared to unfollow each other on Instagram.

Deborah has now set her profile to private.

Meanwhile, Hugh continues to share happy-looking snaps of his antics out and about, including his morning strolls around London and New York’s Central Park.
