Viewers have watched in horror over the last few weeks as Tracy’s husband Steve (Simon Gregson) has swooned over his football hero Orpington, who is now a painter and decorator, unaware that he was bedding his wife.
Steve has, on occasion, come dangerously close to discovering the truth, leaving Tommy wrecked with guilt.
Blissfully oblivious to what’s been going on in his marital bed, Steve has since given his hero another decorating job at Preston’s Petals after being impressed with the work on his bedroom.
Next week, with her hubby on an airport run, Tracy seizes the opportunity of a free house to continue with her sordid affair.
At the same time, Gav Adetiba (Noah Olaoye) starts up his own window cleaning round and turns to Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) for help setting up the ladder at No. 1.
Long-term Corrie fans will remember that Tim had his own window washing business for years, so has no hesitation in shimmering up the ladder to show Gav the ropes – but is met with an unwelcome surprise.
Spotting Tim’s face in the window, Tracy screams and rushes downstairs in her dressing gown to assure him that she and Steve were having a bit of lunchtime fun.
No stranger to spontaneous bedroom antics himself, Tim rushes home to tell wife Sally about what he saw his best mates up to, but she’s later left confused when Steve tells her he was out driving for Street Cars all day.
With Sally wondering who Tracy was in bed with, will she confess all, or approach the adulterer herself for the truth?
