KERB Holborn street food market is opening
If you work in Holborn, your lunchtimes are about to get upgraded
Since it launched in 2012, KERB has transformed the city’s street food scene – it has served over seven million meals from across its markets and helped countless food businesses find success through its social enterprise – and it’s continuing to grow with the launch of a new lunchtime market. Opening in Holborn on Weds 7th August and then trading every Wednesday from 11.30am – 2.30pm (with a second trading day coming in September), KERB Holborn will feature seven of the city’s most popular street food traders.
For the opening week, you’ll be able to pick up the likes of Caribbean fried chicken from Only Jerkin’, Filipino BBQ from Filigrillz, beef dip sarnies from It’s All Gravy, birria tacos from Mexclub, Sri Lankan kothu rotis from Ceylon Kothu, Middle Eastern rice bowls from Faté, and Singaporean butter chicken from Rice Bandits. And if you manage to pick up a KERB flyer outside Holborn & Chancery Lane tube stations on Wednesday morning and scan the QR code, you could be in for a free lunch as free meals will be given out to the first 100 customers.
