Cobella salon review – we get the chop at the Kensington salon
If the unpredictable summer weather has taken its toll on your hair, this is the place to sort it
With two-time London Hairdresser of the Year winner and 2024 British Hairdresser of the Year nominee Jordana Cobella as the founder, you can be sure your hair is in good hands at Cobella. The salon and day spa (you can get beauty, aesthetics and trichology treatments here too) on Kensington High Street does great work with colour but with some serious split ends to get rid of, I stuck to a cut and blowdry.
My stylist Guy started with the cut first, opting to do it dry to better chop off all the dead ends and get the long layers falling just right. Then it was over to the washing station, at the rear of the marbled space, for a shampoo and hair mask using Wella products (and a little back massage too – god love those massage chairs).
Once back at the mirrors, Guy used the new GHD Duet hairdryer brush to dry and style my hair – the tool can do both at once, which is a real time saver – and as well as creating some gentle waves, it added lots of shine too. With my hair holding up well even days later, that styler well may be going in my basket….
